Our hatchery is also located in Bannockburn making transportation of eggs more efficient.
It takes 21 days to hatch an egg. At any point in time we have 1.78 million eggs being incubated. On the day of the hatch, our chicks are checked for quality, vaccinated, counted and in some cases separated into males and females before being transported and placed onto our broiler farms.
Day old chicks are transported to broiler farms in specially designed temperature controlled vehicles.
The quality of our flocks relies heavily on hygiene and cleanliness. We have a strict cleaning program in place across all our operations, overseen by our highly qualified technical staff.
